There was plenty to be optimistic about on the Camogie front over the weekend even if wins didn’t ensue.
On Saturday the Carlow Senior Camogie Team mounted a massive fightback having trailed Meath by 0-7 to 0-2 at half time.
They outscored the Royals by 0-5 to 0-2 in the second half but just came up short losing 0-9 to 0-7.
These battling qualities will no doubt stand to them going forward.
Meanwhile the minor side narrowly lost out away to Kerry in the All Ireland Minor B Championship at Ballyheigue.
0-10 to 1-4 was the final score in favour of the Kingdom.
They now prepare for the All Ireland Quarters Finals on April 7th.
The Feile also took place this weekend.
Winners were:
Division 1 – Burren Rangers
Division 2 – Setanta
Regional Feile Winners – Carlow Town
