Carlow Ladies Footballers continued their unbeaten start to the National League with a win over Wicklow in Aughrim on Sunday last.
Goals were the foundation block for this win with Rachel Sawyer and Emma Coogan setting the tone in the first quarter on that front.
Sawyer then set up Sara Doyle for Carlow's third goal and at half time they led 3-4 to 0-5.
Cliodhna Ní Shé was responsible for four of Carlow's five second half points; a brace from play and frees doing the trick while Sawyer offered up the other from the left boot.
It was a big win for Carlow who are very much in the hunt here with three wins and two draws leaving them in 3rd, just one point off Leitrim and two behind Fermanagh who lead on 13 points.
Carlow face Leitrim on Sunday and as it stands throw in is at 12.30 at SETU Carlow.
