The Intermediate Hurling Championship kicked off this weekend with Carlow Town’s one point win over MLR the standout result.
They’ve been going about their business quite nicely this year so far and this 3-10 to 3-9 win over Rangers is sure to give them an even bigger boost.
Kildavin/Clonegal hit 1-14 but it wasn’t enough to see off St Mullins who finished with 4-10.
While Naomh Eoin had to settle for a draw at home to Bagenalstown Gaels, with it ending 0-15 to 1-12.
Speaking of Naomh Eoin, they racked up another win in this year’s Junior Hurling Championship, this time seeing off St Mullins by 2-15 to 0-12.
It finished MLR 0-14, Ballinkillen 1-11. And Naomh Brid will have been boosted by their 4-13 to 2-13 win over Carlow Town after a difficult week for the club. Liam Brennan’s goal a standout in that one.
