Div 2A National Camogie League R2
Carlow 1-7
Offaly 5-13
Carlow found Offaly that little bit too hot to handle in Saturday’s encounter at Netwatch Cullen Park.
A first half goal was encouraging, but by half time Carlow were feeling the pressure as Offaly led 3-8 to 1-5.
Although the margin was closeable, Offaly found another gear once more and mustered up an additional 2-5 in the second half with Carlow managing just two solitary points.
Carlow have proven that they can be competitive in this league with their performance up in Derry and while this particular result may not look pretty, they definitely have the raw materials to drive on.
Next up is a trip to Westmeath on Saturday the 9th of March.
